Sega and Rovio have officially announced that Sonic Rumble, the highly anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog party royale mobile game, is now available for pre-registration.
Combining the excitement of the party royale genre with the iconic Sonic universe, Sonic Rumble introduces 32-player challenges that merge fast-paced action that are fun to play with friends. For the first time in the Sonic franchise’s history, the game supports cross-platform play between mobile and PC.
Starting today, fans can pre-register for Sonic Rumble via their preferred app store or the official Sonic Rumble website.
Pre-registered players will unlock unique in-game rewards, including Rings for purchasing items, emotes, and companions such as the beloved Chao. Additional milestones will unlock even more rewards, such as the exclusive Garnet Knuckles skin and a special skin inspired by the upcoming Sonic 3: The Movie.
Reflecting the cooperative spirit of the game, the Sonic community is encouraged to work together to increase the total number of pre-registrations and unlock the highest-tier rewards for all players.
Sonic Rumble reimagines the Sonic experience by transforming fan-favorite characters into toy figurines who compete in dynamic battle royale-style challenges. Set in vibrant arenas created by Dr. Eggman, players must collect Rings, utilize power-ups, and outmaneuver opponents in action-packed matches. With extensive customization options and strategic gameplay, Sonic Rumble aims to captivate both long-time fans and newcomers.
The game’s launch coincides with a significant year for the Sonic franchise, marked by the upcoming release of Sonic 3: The Movie (with Keanu Reeves as Shadow!) and the debut of SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS on console. These releases solidify 2024 as an exciting time for fans to dive deeper into the Sonic universe. Sonic fans are eating good this year.
Fans in pre-release territories can download the game early via the official channels. Sonic fans need to pre-register now to secure their rewards and be among the first to experience this bite-sized chapter in the Sonic saga.
