A battle royale among cats? You heard that right.

Last September 18, iCandy Interactive launched <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/snaky-cat/">Snaky Cat</a> for Android and iOS devices.

Developed by Appxplore, an iCandy subsidiary, Snaky Cat is a <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/best/multiplayer/">multiplayer</a> game. It takes the classic snake game formula with a dose of feline frenzy.

Players take control of serpentine cats battling it out in a candy-coated arena. The objective is simple: devour as many donuts as possible. This would help players grow their feline friend into the ultimate, leaderboard-topping longcat.

But this not just a simple sugar rush. The game incorporates battle royale elements. This meant that players can expect a cutthroat competition.

Navigating the arena requires skillful maneuvering to avoid colliding with other players. However, those who can outsmart their opponents are rewarded with delicious treats. And these are the remnants of their vanquished feline foes. Ultimately, ranking up in the list.

Meanwhile, the game allows players to customize their cats.

"Be it wacky, silly, funky or pretty, there are more than 50 cats to collect and choose from! Don’t forget to dress them up with stylish accessories too!" developers said.

However, iCandy disclosed that Snaky Cat's Early Access launch is currently limited to selected regions. This included Canada, Argentina, Australia, Malaysia, the UK, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa.

"Early access slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis," they added.

But for those outside the Early Access regions can join Snaky Cat by pre-registering on <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appxplore.snakycat&hl=en">Google Play Store</a> or the Apple <a href="https://apps.apple.com/jp/app/snaky-cat/id6497651162?l=en-US">App Store</a>.

This pre-registration not only grants access to the game upon its full release. But also unlocks a purr-fectly special reward: a Legendary Cat. Players can also receive exclusive cosmetics for Appxplore's other award-winning casual games, Crab War and Claw Stars.

As of September 18, the Australia-based developer and publisher said over 500,000 players have pre-registered for Snaky Cat.
