ScourgeBringer is Coming to the PS4 and PSVita

Developers Flying Oak Games had released ScourgeBringer for the Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox last year to critical acclaim. Now, the roguelike title has been ported over to one more console family—the PlayStation.

It’s been officially announced that ScourgeBringer is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Check it out:

Here’s the official description:

ScourgeBringer aims to channel the mystery and rawness of an early rogue-platformer, with fluid control, aerial combat, pixel graphics and a punchy soundtrack. The story follows hero Kyhra, who is sent away to uncover the secrets of an Eldritch monolith that is threatening to destroy her world. Armed with her trusty combat drone, she must shoot and slash her way through the infinite depths of an ever-changing dungeon, wherein gigantic bosses, ancient machines, strange ghosts and untold secrets from previous explorers await. There is no backtracking, as the game’s structure follows a procedural combination of pre-built challenge rooms, not unlike the Binding of Isaac.

Though we should expect that ScourgeBringer would be available digitally, there is also a boxed collector’s edition underway which will only be limited to 500 copies. If you loved the game, there’s a great keepsake for you to keep your eyes out for. For more information on that, you can click here.

The PS Vita version will also have pre-orders via www.play-asia.com, but players will still have to wait for them to be available soon. This will be one of the first games for the PS Vita in a very long time and that may well be a cause for excitement for owners of the well-loved console.

ScourgeBringer is going to be available for PS4 and PS Vita on April 22, but you can pre-order the game today.
