Pumpkin Jack is Now Available for the PS4

Last October saw the release of Headup Games’ Pumpkin Jack, and though we’re way past Halloween, the game is now set to release on a new platform—the PlayStation.

Here’s the announcement of Pumpkin Jack for the PS4:

Playing as Jack, you overcome tight platform sections, solve riddles (literally!) with your head, run for your life to escape giant burning barns, ride mine carts (in a classic roller coaster-ish manner of course…) and much more – and yes, using an varied arsenal of weapons you’ll fight lots and lots of foes, from small weak ones up to huge bosses all of which will test your skills.

As for the story, you’ll take control of Jack as he slays his nemesis in the Kingdom of Arc En Ciel according to the Devil’s bidding. Besides controlling Jack, you’ll also get to interact with some kooky characters like an owl and crow—both will help you as you play through the game.

The descriptions don’t lie when it compares the game to Jak & Daxter and MediEvil. The world is dark and spooky (but in a family-friendly way), and you get to experience a variety of gameplay from the basic platforming to riding vehicles and speeding through corridors.

Pumpkin Jack is available for $29.99, €29.99, and £24.99 and promises players 5-8 hours of fun based on just one run.

Pumpkin Jack is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC.
