<p>The Yakuza games continue to expand in an unpredictable fashion with <strong>Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii</strong>.</p> 

<p>Last Friday, Sega of America and Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) announced the latest entry to its award-winning action-adventure series. The game will be released on <strong>February 28, 2025</strong> for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/3061810/Like_a_Dragon_Pirate_Yakuza_in_Hawaii/">Steam</a>.</p>

<p>Players can pre-order various editions of the game across all platforms starting today.</p> 

<p>These are the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition.</p> 

<p>The game’s standard Standard Edition will be available in both digital and physical formats whereas the Digital Deluxe Edition will include DLC character customization packs.</p>

<p>For the $130 Collector’s Edition, it comes with the base game, a Deluxe Edition DLC code, and exclusive physical items such as a replica of Goro Majima’s iconic eye patch and a treasure coin pin.</p>

<p>Players who pre-order will receive two bonuses. This includes the ‘Ichiban Pirate Crew Set’ DLC which adds popular <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/yakuza-like-a-dragon/">Like a Dragon</a> character Ichiban Kasuga and his pet crawfish, Nancy, to Majima’s pirate crew.</p> 

<p>Additionally, they will also receive the ‘Ichiban Special Outfit Set’ DLC, which allows Majima to wear two of Ichiban Kasuga’s signature outfits.</p>

<p>Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza is the latest title from RGG’s renowned franchise.</p> 

<p>It follows the story of Majima as he travels across the vast ocean in search of his missing memories. Accompanied by a boy named Noah, they’re caught up in a conflict between criminals, modern-day pirates and other scoundrels over a legendary treasure.</p>  

<p>The gameplay will return to the series’ traditional third-person brawler combat. Unlike Ichiban Kasuga’s turn-based adventures in <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/like-a-dragon-infinite-wealth/">Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth</a>, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza will feature real-time battles.</p> 

<p>This refined battle system allows Majima to dynamically switch between two fighting styles. Players can pick between a pirate-centric moveset such as swashbuckling and dual wielding with the ‘Sea Dog’ style or utilize speed and agility with the infamous ‘Mad Dog’ style.</p>
