Good news for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 owners who loved the acclaimed adventure game Papetura.
Creators of Papetura announced that the game will have physical editions for Switch and PlayStation 5 soon. Developer Petums and publisher Feardemic partnered with Meridiem Games for the physical release.
Called the Papetura Craft Edition, it will first launch at select European retailers later this 2024. In a press release, Meridiem said they will spearhead its design and production. This limited edition will contain exclusive merchandise. These included an exclusive art book and a downloadable code for the original game soundtrack.

Papetura first came out in 2021 on PC. The point-and-click adventure game is known for its unique approach and art style in world-building. The game takes players to a world constructed and handcrafted from paper cutouts.
The game's title is a reference to the two, main characters. Players take control of Pape, a small paper being. And together with his friend Tura, he embarks on a journey to save their world from a mysterious fiery peril.
Papetura's gameplay revolves around interacting with the handcrafted environment. Players can also use Pape and Tura's unique abilities to overcome challenges and progress the narrative.
Upon its release, the game received both critical and commercial success. Gamers and critics alike praised its digital release its visuals, design, and scoring. They also lauded the creativity and dedication of Tomasz Ostafin in bringing the paper world to life. In addition, the game's composer Floex was credited for bringing the experience to another level for its atmospheric music.
