While Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has recently been bringing Devolver Digital to the spotlight, the studio has been known for publishing some great independent titles like Enter the Gungeon and My Friend Pedro. This week, Devolver is dedicating their time to highlighting their next release, Olija, a hack and slash adventure developed by Skeleton Crew Studios.
Counting down to just a few days before release, Devolver dropped a launch trailer for the game which you can check out below:

While the animation for the trailer may be impressive, Olija is actually going for a retro pixel look. It shouldn’t be surprising with a publisher like Devolver which has several titles that embrace the old school aesthetic. Ultimately the winning element should be the gameplay, and hopefully we’ll get to see some of it come launch.
