Neverwinter was a free-to-play action MMORPG that came out back in 2013, and almost a decade later, the game is still getting support from devs and has just released its fourth and final milestone, Neverwinter: The Redeemed Citadel. What’s great is, the game has just become available to a whole new branch of gamers.
Neverwinter was a Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios have announced Neverwinter is finally available in the Epic Games Store. With Milestone IV just unlocked for the game, now is the perfect time to get into the world of Neverwinter.
As for the biggest additions to Milestone IV, players will be able to get access to a new character race called the Aasimar. Players will also be able to craft and upgrade their armor with a new chamber called The Forge.
Here are some details of the new content:
A. New Character Race - Aasimar
Upon completion of this milestone, players who have purchased all Reforger’s Blessings and claimed all personal rewards will unlock the Aasimar Race.
The Aasimar Race has the following racial abilities:
- Celestial Superiority: Damage dealt, outgoing healing, incoming healing, and maximum hit points are increased by 1%. Players take 1% less damage from all sources.
- Ability Scores: Grants a player +2 to any two stats.
- Celestial Presence: Grants all nearby party members a 1% increase to maximum hit points. This effect does not stack.
B. New Chamber - The Forge
- The Forge is now unlocked, enabling players to upgrade their Hunt Armor and craft Divine Armor.
The update also comes with a whole list of new rewards including the Crown of Cancles Transmute, Reforger’s Pants, Blessed Gifts of the Companion Choice Pack (which includes a player’s choice of level 1100 gear), and a Premium Legendary Insignia Choice Pack Bundle which lets players choose from legendary insignias: Burality, Initiative, and Fortitude.

Though the game had come out back in 2013, Neverwinter manages to have a lot to offer despite its age. The lore is rich and, though some of the animations have aged compared to today’s standards, there’s still a lot to love when it comes to the looks and gameplay.
