Die Gute Fabrik and Akupura Games released Mutazione back in 2019. After many awards and critical praise, it has finally come to the Switch and Xbox platforms.
Here’s the trailer:
The game had received the Grand Jury Award at IndieCade’s Anywhere and Everywhere festival and was also the most nominated game at the 2020 IGFs.
Mutazione has a wonderfully hand-illustrated world and a dramatic story. But it also offers players a unique escape with the game’s customizable gardens. You can arrange your plants to "relaxing musical soundscapes." Or, collect and send unique seeds to your friends in-game.
A physical edition of the game will come out later in the year for the PS4 and Switch. For now no release date has been set. They’ll run for $34.99 on PlayStation 4 and $29.99 on the Switch. To pre-order those, you can go here.
