Gamers looking for a relaxing and fun experience have a new game to look forward to in 2023.
Monster Mop Up, an indie game about rescuing rogue Ragamuffins, is slated to launch on PC this year. The game's developer, Terahard Ltd., announced its development via Steam. The London-based studio is aiming for a 2023 release.
The game is in active development and we will share regular updates on the progress of our game,
they wrote on the game's Steam page.
Terahard Ltd. has also released a teaser YouTube trailer showing a 32-second glimpse of Monster Mop Up.
Developers described Monster Mop Up as a "chill and casual" sandbox simulation game. With 3D visuals, players find themselves running after Ragamuffins that have entered the human world.
Working under the Ministry of Monster Concealment, the player's task is to keep any signs of Ragamuffins' existence away from any mortals. They can do this with the help of a high-tech trap that happens to be a mop.
Clean up all sorts of messes that Ragamuffins leave behind, and ensure that no monster trace is left in the human world. Take your time and make the place squeaky clean,
the developer said.
Aside from cleaning up the traces the Ragamuffins left, players can also actively seek and rescue them. Monster Mop Up features a Clean and Rescue mode and a customization option.
In Clean and Rescue, players need to find and capture Ragamuffins hiding. They also need to clean the mess they left.
Players can also build and customize their own homes where they can keep their adopted Ragamuffins.
Your home is your safe and relaxing space after a day's work cleaning and finding the little Ragamuffins. Expand your home as you progress and create your own sanctuary,
developers said.
