Heads up, baseball fans! The latest title in the Major League Baseball (MLB) game series just landed on mobile devices.
South Korean game developer and publisher Com2Us confirmed rolling out MLB 9 Innings Rivals for Android and iOS phones on July 5.
Developers touted MLB 9 Innings Rivals as the "next-generation of MLB mobile games." They promised to bring enhanced visuals, smoother gameplay mechanics, and more teams to MLB 9 Innings Rivals.
MLB 9 Innings Rivals marks the next generation of Com2uS' official licensed MLB mobile games,
said Jihoon Han, Head of Game Business Group.
Developers also revealed using motion-capture technology to create the real-life movements of professional players in the game.
Meanwhile, they added that the newest MLB mobile game also featured a wider roster of up to 30 teams.
Fans can choose from a roster of 30 teams and take out the competition at some of the most iconic stadiums in the world with some of the best players to grace the diamond,
the developers described.
MLB 9 Innings Rivals will have multiple modes for players to choose from, Com2Us said. These included League, Live Match, and Ranked Slugger.
Players will also get the chance to add baseball legends Freddie Freeman and Xander Bogaerts' S-Grade Live Cards to their team. Developers explained that all they have to do is log in to the game.
They can also participate in special event mission milestones to unlock up to 1,500 Stars, Season S Packs, and more,
creators added.
