Independent developer Render Cube announced the upcoming update for Medieval Dynasty. Co-op, cross-play and a new map will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC starting June 27th.

This update allows console players to join their PC friends in cross-platform co-op adventures. The co-op mode allows four players to hunt, trade, and build together in the medieval world of Piastovia.

Inside the addition of crossplay and co-op, a whole new map will be available to play as well. The Oxbow Map is its most ambitious update yet.

It introduces players to a vibrant, bustling region where they can embark on new quests and experience a dynamic village life. The villagers are alive more than ever as they go about their daily routines, adding more immersion to its strategic elements.

“We're thrilled to offer players new experiences and content that redefine immersion and camaraderie in the world we've meticulously crafted. This marks not only a significant milestone in our journey but also reinforces the enduring strength and appeal of the Medieval Dynasty brand across PC and console platforms,” said Matthias Wünsche, CEO of Toplitz Productions GmbH.

The upcoming update will align console players with the PC version. The PC version launched on Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store in Fall 2021. It has sold over 1.75 million copies as of December 2023.

The game has been available on current-gen consoles since October 2022, cultivating an active community.

The successful integration of the co-op mode and new map on Steam last December set the stage for this significant expansion to consoles.

Medieval Dynasty is currently available digitally on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. Render Cube has further content planned for release later in 2024. This includes the ‘Armors, Crests, and Shields’ update.
