3 years after its Epic Exclusivity, Square Enix announced that their beloved KINGDOM HEARTS series is coming to Steam this June 13.
Multiple Kingdom Hearts titles will be available on Steam’s library soon, specifically:
- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
- KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind DLC
- KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE (bundle that includes all the above compilations)
Players experience the series’ iconic ‘Dark Seeker Saga.’
It follows Sora and friends’ humble beginnings after a fateful event on their island. Sora will work together with popular Disney and Final Fantasy characters in a crossover of epic proportions.
Among Sora’s allies are Disney legends Donald Duck and Goofy. They travel to iconic Disney locations such as Hercules, Frozen, Toy Story, and more. The trio will battle against the series’ forces of darkness in the name of light and friendship.
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX serves as a Remaster for all the titles prior to Kingdom Hearts III. It includes the first Kingdom Hearts game, its two spin-offs, and Kingdom Hearts II. Also included are cinematic remakes of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Re:Coded.
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue acts as a teaser to Kingdom Hearts III’s visual and gameplay overhaul. It follows the story of Aqua after the events of PlayStation Portable’s ‘Birth By Sleep’. The compilation also includes a Remaster of Dream Drop Distance HD and the cinematic version of its mobile game (Back Cover X).
All classic titles receive textural updates to its graphics. It also features all the bonus content from its Final Mix versions.
KINGDOM HEARTS III + ReMind DLC is the final entry of the series’ two-decade long saga. It marks Sora and friends’ dramatic battle against the scheming Master Xehanort. Players who buy this pack can also access ReMind DLC. It takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts III and teases the series’ future.
The INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE bundle contains all the games mentioned above. Purchasing KINGDOM HEARTS III + ReMind DLC or the INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE bundle will give players an exclusive Keyblade called “Dead of Night."
The series is known for its complicated plot and odd naming styles. Players new to the series should play in release order before diving into Kingdom Hearts III.

Kingdom Hearts IV is currently in development.
The KINGDOM HEARTS series comes to Steam on June 13, 2024. The games are also available to purchase now for PS4, Xbox One, PC via Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch (Cloud versions only).
