Fans looking forward to playing Infinity Nikki, keep your fingers crossed. Developers from Singaporean studio Infold Games have yet to disclose a specific launch date. But the gaming community has been abuzz recently. This after the PlayStation Store indicated that Infinity Nikki will start welcoming PlayStation 5 soon.
The PlayStation Store website revealed that Infinity Nikki will land on PS5 consoles this December 5.
Infold, meanwhile, has yet to make announcements about the game's PC and mobile release. But in earlier statements, they said they will release the upcoming game 'later this year'.
Infinity Nikki is the fifth installment in Infold's popular dress-up Nikki series. It is created using Unreal Engine 5 technology.
For the first time, developers will introduce an open-world feature. It is also the first entry that can be played both on PC and PlayStation 5.
In the meantime, Infold Games announced that Infinity Nikki reached a new milestone. The game, as of November 10th, has already reached 30 million pre-registrations worldwide. The figures include players from PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android.
In turn, Infold has unlocked all pre-registration rewards for future players. They will receive 50,000 Blings, 300 Threads of Purity, 20 Resonite Crystals, and a four-star outfit.
In Infinity Nikki, players journey through the game's world. They will also encounter a range of activities. From platforming challenges to themed dungeons. As well as puzzle-solving in areas known as the Domain of Curio. In celebration of the pre-registration milestone, Infold has also released a new trailer. Titled Unfold Your Whim, it showcased gameplay elements for Infinity Nikki.
The video also showed how players can explore its expansive world by collecting items called Whimstars. It also provided previews on how they can wear special outfits that grant the main character, Nikki, various abilities. Like gliding, floating, and even interacting with animals. The game also introduces Momo, Nikki’s loyal companion.
