Developer Bleakmill Games and Headup (Publisher) released a new gameplay trailer for INDUSTRIA 2. The anticipated immersive shooter was part of Steam’s “Games Baked in Germany” event. The two minute trailer offers a glimpse into its bleak science fiction narrative.
The trailer showcased the impressive visuals and lighting of INDUSTRIA 2. It comes along with its stealth and physics-focused gameplay. Fans of System Shock or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will find its immersive experience familiar.
The story takes place in an alternate dimension. Player’s follow the footsteps of the game's protagonist, Nora. She finds herself trapped in a dangerous and unfamiliar world. Nora must navigate her way back to 1989 East Berlin while battling a sinister AI.
INDUSTRIA 2’s gameplay involves physics-based interactions and crafting. Perhaps the game's biggest flex is in its diegetic inventory system. It seamlessly blends with the environment, attracting noise during stealth sections.
Players can upgrade five weapons with attachments such as silencers, extended magazines, or special attacks.
Accompanying its attention to detail is the game's 'Robot Body Horror.' This mechanic includes vivid machine oil spilling and body dismemberment. This leads to intense firefights against the metallic horrors that await.

Despite its action-oriented approach, INDUSTRIA 2 is a narrative FPS at its core. It features a believable cast of characters set against the backdrop of industrial decay.
INDUSTRIA 2 is Bleakmill’s second INDUSTRIA game. This sequel promises an ambitious story packed with full voiceover and detailed sound design. The series has created a community of supportive players over the years. The first game received over 1,600 ‘Mostly Positive’ reviews.
The game is still in development with no definite release date yet. It is scheduled for a 2025 launch on Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store.
