I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and Liar are set to come out later within the year.

I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar Officially Announced
UPDATE: Schell Games has since confirmed that I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar will release on the PSVR, as well as the Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift.

Schell Games has been hard at work on a sequel to their VR success, I Expect You to Die. 5 years after the launch of the first game in 2016, I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and Liar are set to come out later within the year.

Schell Games CEO Jesse Schell had this to say about the upcoming sequel:

“The community spoke, and we listened. We’re thrilled to continue building upon the success of I Expect You To Die and give fans an opportunity to test their wits against the traps Dr. Zor has in store… We were blown away by the positive response we received for I Expect You To Die, and we’re excited to create another title that contributes to our legacy of immersive and engaging virtual reality experiences.”

To help hype up the release of the sequel, the first I Expect You to Die game is now on sale 20 percent off on the Oculus Quest Store. An Oculus bundle is also available where the game is packaged alongside another Schell Games hit, Until You Fall; which will be available from Jan. 29 – Feb. 5.

As of now, no release date has been set for I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar, but Schell promises to announce the specific VR platforms that the game will be made available at a later date.
