tinyBuild to Release Survival Craft I Am Future via Early Access

tinyBuild, an American video game publisher, has announced that its post-apocalyptic crafting game I Am Future will release via Early Access on August 8 (August 9 in the Philippines) for PC.

Mandragora, an independent game studio based in Armenia, is developing the game. I Am Future promises players a "cozy and relaxing survival" experience, unlike post-apocalyptic games' usual doom and gloom.

In I Am Future, players find themselves alone on the rooftop of an overgrown skyscraper in the fictional city of Cosmopolis following a corporate feud. To survive, they must farm, cook, craft items, and search for resources while solving the mystery behind the catastrophe.

Ahead of its release, I Am Future also received a new trailer for interested players to check out. The video revealed the newest additions developers have made for the upcoming game. These included allowing players to have robot companions. The Early Access trailer showed portions where the player customizes his minion robot.

According to developers, the Early Access version of I Am Future will contain "part of the main story campaign and more of the sandbox activities."

Players can expect more content in the coming weeks based on their Early Access roadmap. New enemies, seasonal events, and even a story expansion will soon arrive in I Am Future. While developers have not released a specific timeline for I Am Future's Early Access edition, they hinted that a full release might come soon.

We wouldn't like to keep the game in Early Access for too long, but we also need to make sure that the full version is ready and stable before the launch, they explained.

I Am Future will carry a price tag of $14.99, but tinyBuild will have a limited-time 10 percent discount during its launch week.
