The new Xbox game achieved an impressive 25,000 sales within the first 24 hours and has continued to maintain its momentum. It reached a staggering 50,000 sales without the backing of a publisher or a Game Pass deal.
On whatoplay, the game boasts a playscore of 8.6 on the Xbox Series X/S platform. The game is also currently sitting at a 4.6/5 rating on Xbox based on over 600 reviews.
“I’m really overwhelmed by the success of our game on Xbox and can’t thank everyone enough for buying the game. 50,000 sales might not mean much in the realm of AAA, but for our small team of six, in a tough time for the industry, with no support from a big publisher, selling 50,000 on Xbox in only a few days is really a big deal! Thank you again to everyone who has supported us!” said Joe Henson, Creative Gameplay and Marketing Director at Digital Cybercherries.
‘HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed’ is a unique first and third-person shooter featuring sentient action figures. It is inspired by classic films like "Toy Story" and "Small Soldiers,” taking players to the forefront of battle as miniature toys.

The game offers a full story campaign that can be played solo or with up to four players online in co-op mode. Like other Xbox games, it also supports split-screen play which allows playing both locally and online with friends.
Players who prefer more challenge can enter its competitive arenas. The game includes various PvP modes that allow players to engage in epic action figure battles. They can defend the Hypercore with friends, survive waves of weaponized toys, or enjoy a free-for-all rumble.
‘HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed’ is currently out on Steam ($25) and Xbox ($30). Regional pricing may vary. A playable Demo is available for players who want to get a taste of the tiny shootouts.
