InnoGames, German developer and publisher of mobile and browser games, unveiled Heroes of History. This <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/best/strategy/">strategy</a> game blends city-building with a strong PvP focus featuring famous historical characters. 

Heroes of History invites players to build their own empires and recruit historical figures to fight as heroes. They can build a unique settlement that progresses through different historical ages and survive to avoid disasters. 

The gameplay involves strategic planning. Like <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/sid-meiers-civilization-vii/">Sid Meier’s Civilization</a> series, planning is crucial as players must assemble heroes into teams and position them on the battlefield to win.

Forming alliances with others allows for collaboration and rewards, while a rich event calendar promises a series of in-game events. 

Players who prefer to go solo will find its campaign enjoyable. It has an in-depth story about time-traveling alongside Albert Einstein while working to save humanity from disaster. In PvP mode, however, players can enlist over 70 historical and mythological characters, such as Hercules, Medusa, and Joan of Arc. Each new character possesses unique abilities. 

Christian Reshöft, Chief Product Officer of InnoGames, expressed his excitement about this new game, stating, ‘[He] is eager to see which historical and mythological characters players will choose to battle with.”

This is not InnoGames’ first project. Before this, they are known for their other mobile game <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/forge-of-empires/">Forge of Empires</a>. In fact, Heroes of History combines elements from their previous titles with new mechanics, promising a dynamic and engaging gaming experience full of variety and ongoing challenges. 

Pre-registration is now open on the App Store and Google Play Store. The game is free to play and will soon be available on iOS and Android. It will also be a browser game on PC featuring cross-play. A beta server for the browser version launching simultaneously.
