Frozen Way and Console Way announced the upcoming release of Hairdresser Simulator on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles. This simulation game about living out the hairdressing dream will be available on July 25, 2024 for $19.99.
Hairdresser Simulator provides a dynamic environment where players can influence trends in the hairdressing industry. It combines elements of simulation, fashion design and management in one package.
As a novice hairdresser, players will need to learn how to master their craft. This includes having to satisfy customer requests and managing their own salons. Staying current with fashion trends and learning new techniques will be essential to success.

The game features a variety of choices for players to tinker with, these include:
- 10 hairdressing tools, such as scissors, clippers, and curling irons. Players master 10 techniques, including thinning, dyeing, and curling.
- An extensive in-game character creator to customize every aspect of a character's appearance.
- The ability to purchase and renovate 9 different salon locations. Manage all aspects of the business, from hiring employees to setting work schedules.
There are 18 unique customers, each with their own story and voice acting. This adds a new layer to the narrative aside from their haircare. In addition to that, a reputation system serves as a benchmark for the player’s skill to their clients. It enhances the credibility of their salon and its mastery of their craft.
Hairdresser Simulator came out on Steam on March 6th. It gained polarizing reviews from the community due to its performance issues and notable bugs.
This upcoming console port was made possible with Console Way. It has over 40 successful ports to Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
