How to Send Gifts on GOG.com
Luckily, GOG.com users have an option in which they can buy games for their friends. Simply purchase the game like you usually would by finding the game you want to buy and then clicking the Add to Cart button.
Go to your cart, and right before paying for the item, click the option to “Gift this Order”.This will then open a window which will allow you to enter the e-mail of the person you’re sending the gift to.
GOG.com will also give you the option to leave a message for the person you’re buying a game for so you can make your purchase extra special.

According to Epic Games Store, players can’t buy games as gifts yet. There have been no updates on whether Epic will add this option. However, there have been plenty of discussions in the online community. It may only be a matter of time before the feature is added to the store.
In the meantime, some suggest sending money to the person you want to buy a gift for. Others have also suggested secretly logging in to your friend's account, purchasing the game for them, and surprising them with a new game in their library.

Unlike Epic, you can very much purchase gifts on Steam. Add the game (or DLC) to your cart, and select the option that says “This is a gift.” This will allow you to purchase the game for another Steam user, and there will also be an option to leave a message along with your gift.
You have to make sure that the person you’re giving the gift to also has a Steam account, and they should also be a member of your friend list.
