Developer Toppluva AB has announced the release date for the sequel to its global hit mobile game, Grand Mountain Adventure. The new title, Grand Mountain Adventure 2, will debut on iOS and Android devices on February 6, 2025.

This sequel will build on the success of the original game, which garnered over 20 million downloads since its release five years ago. With its winter holiday charm, it has become one of the best Android games of all time. The development team at Toppluva AB is dedicated to making Grand Mountain Adventure 2 an even more immersive and expansive snowboarding experience.
The game introduces five new ski resorts, each up to four times larger than those in the first installment, with enhanced graphics and a wealth of new features all packed into the small screen.
Players can explore an open-world winter sports playground, doing activities such as parachuting, ski jumping, speed skiing, trampolining, ziplining, wakeboarding, and even longboarding. New modes include a 2D platformer and a top-down skiing perspective, adding unique twists to gameplay.
For players seeking the extra challenge, Grand Mountain Adventure 2 offers a variety of downhill racing, trick competitions, and ski-jumping events, all of which will reward players with experience points to unlock new outfits and gear.
Those who prefer peace and quiet, however, will find the game’s ‘Zen’ mode appealing. This allows players to relax and enjoy the scenery by removing all challenges. Alongside this mode, the ‘Observe’ mode populates the slopes with hundreds of AI-controlled skiers and snowboarders, creating a lively and dynamic environment to watch and enjoy.

The original Grand Mountain Adventure came out 5 years ago on Android first, then iOS after. Both received Playscores of 8.9, with critics and players praising its casual and easy to pick up charm.
2 years after its debut on iOS, the game was ported to PC via Steam, resulting in a playscore of 8.7 from over 200 users.
Grand Mountain Adventure 2 will be available on February 6, 2025 with pre-orders now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
