<p>Confront the cold in the Limited Access Beta for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/frostpunk-2/">Frostpunk 2</a>.</p> 

<p>11 bit Studios invites players who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Frostpunk 2 to play now. This Limited Access Beta will last until <strong>April 22</strong>, giving players a sneak peek into the award-winning <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/city-builder/">city-builder</a>. </p>

<p>This week-long Beta will feature a portion of the sandbox mode known as the ‘Utopia Builder Preview’.</p> 

<p>In this mode, players can get a slice of Frostpunk 2 They can create their ideal city in the midst of the biting cold. They must also reconcile conflicting interests and navigate societal complexities.</p>

<p>This limited access Beta will only cover the basics of its city-builder mechanics. It will not include any part of the game's story.</p>

<p>Set 30 years after the original game, Frostpunk 2 continues the struggle of shelter citizens against the relentless blizzard. As a Steward, players must form a council to address the people’s needs. There will be complex moral issues and ideological conflict to tackle apart from the cold.</p> 

<p>This sequel promises additional factions, expansive maps and colonies. As well as increased exploration, dramatic occurrences, and a robust narrative campaign mode.</p>

<p>Ultimately, human nature can lead to the city's downfall, where one's utopia may become another's dystopia.</p>

<p>Beta access started on April 15.  Access to the Beta is included with pre-orders to the Digital Deluxe edition of Frostpunk 2.</p>

<p>The game is coming out on <strong>July 25</strong> on <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/upcoming/">PC</a> via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG and PC Game Pass. Console releases for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/upcoming/">PS5</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-series-x/upcoming/">Xbox Series X|S</a> (via Game Pass) will be available at a later date, 11bit Studios said./p>
