<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/square-enix" title="Square Enix">Square Enix</a> may be looking to expand on the world of Final Fantasy VII Remake down the line, but the most recent State of Play has revealed the upcoming features that will be included in the PS5 upgrade.</p>

<p>Here’s a full video breakdown showcasing graphic updates as well as an episode featuring Yuffie as the main character:</p>

<p>As for Yuffie Kisaragi, while she was a character in the original Final Fantasy VII, her presence in Remake was more implied as the developers had decided to split the story with Yuffie coming in for Part II. At least now, she has some time to take the spotlight before she makes her official debut.</p>

<p>While the PS5 upgrade for Final Fantasy VII will come free for players who own the game on the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/final-fantasy-vii-remake" title="Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4">PS4</a>, they will have to pay extra for the Yuffie episode.</p>
