The wait is over for fans of the card game phenomenon: Exploding Kittens 2. The game's digital version finally launched on PC and Mobile on August 12. Players can download it on the App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android, and Steam for PC.

The digital edition of Exploding Kittens 2 retains the core elements that made the original a global sensation. Players draw cards and strategize a variety of cards to outsmart their opponents. At the same time, they should keep their fingers crossed for the dreaded Exploding Kitten.
For its mobile and PC versions, Exploding Kittens 2 will have new features. These included enhanced customization options and a more robust online multiplayer experience. On the other hand, the game also contains familiar elements from the original tabletop version. Like the infamous "Nope" cards and customizable decks.
In Exploding Kittens 2, players can choose between PvP and single-player mode. They can compete against friends or other players online or challenge AI opponents in solo mode.
The game also features a variety of in-game items. Players can expect customizable avatars and emoji packs, to personalize the gaming experience. As a special treat for early adopters, players can claim the exclusive Most Valuable Kitten Outfit for a limited time.
Marmalade Game Studio, the developer behind the digital adaptation, promised the game will stay true to its roots. Mike Willis, co-CEO at Marmalade, said they had worked closely with the Exploding Kittens team to make this possible.
"We've poured our hearts into creating a digital experience that is both faithful to the original and innovative in its own right," said Willis.
Exploding Kittens 2 currently carries a price tag of $13.99 on Steam.
