Unfortunately, you can’t. Epic Games Store users have been asking about the option to gift games to others for a while. The official site writes: “Currently, there is no option to gift games to other players in the Epic Games Store.”
Rest assured, other users have been talking about gifting games on the Epic store. It could be a matter of time before the developers come up with a system where users can buy games for other users.
What’s the Closest Thing I Can Do to Getting Someone a Game on Epic Games Store
Though there is no official method gifting games on Epic, you can opt to send money to the person that you want to purchase a game for. That way, they can purchase the game themselves.
If you really want to make it feel like an actual gift, you can secretly log-in to their account, purchase the game, and surprise them with the game already in their library. That is, if you don't mind the moral quandaries.
Other Sites Where You Can Gift Games
Though Epic Games Store still has no gifting option for its users, it’s a common feature for other digital game stores. Steam allows you to gift, not only games, but also DLC and soundtracks—basically, anything in their store—for other people.
GOG.com also supports gifting. All you have to do is add the e-mail address of the person you’re sending the gift to. GOG.com and Steam also give you the option to leave messages and greetings along with your present.
Take note though, for Steam, you’ll have to make sure that the person you’re sending a gift to also has a Steam account, and they have to be a member of your friend list.
