Players finally got to try and experience Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, the much-anticipated sequel to the hit RPG Ender Lilies.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist made its debut on PC devices via Early Access on March 25 (Tokyo time).
So far, players are enjoying the game. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam from more than 1,000 players who already explored the Land of Fumes as of March 27. Its current gamerscore of 9.8 means it may well be in the running for best PC RPGs.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist was developed by Adglobe and Live Wire. Binary Haze Interactive is its publisher.
According to creators, they plan to have the game in Early Access mode for six months up to a year. During this period, they will actively seek player feedback and suggestions.
“The feedback we received from the ENDER LILIES community has been a major contributor to the development of ENDER MAGNOLIA,” said Hiroyuki Kobayashi, CEO, Binary Haze Interactive.
The Early Access edition allows players access to one village and the first, four areas in the game. Each area also has its share of enemies, characters, and boss fights, they added. In addition, the Early Access has the core actions and skills of the main gameplay. These included skill enhancements and shop mechanics.
Various optional features can also be found.
"The early access may contain mechanics and features that will be removed from the full version depending on players' feedback," the developers added.
Similar to its predecessor, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a single-player dark fantasy game.
It blends Metroidvania and RPG elements. Players become Lilac, an Attuner, who has the power to purify corruption. It is up to Lilac to revive the glory and remove corrupted souls in the Land of Fumes.
The Early Access of Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is priced at $19.99. The 1.0 version will be carrying a higher price tag, its publisher said. Upon release of its full edition, the game will also be expanded to consoles, including PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
The expectations are high for Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Night currently sits as one of the best games on PS4, Series X, and Xbox One.
