Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Will Have Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan as Playable Characters

The upcoming RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is adding more to the roster according to a recent press release from Bandai Namco Entertainment. The three recently announced playable characters are the iconic Dragon Ball Z characters, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan.

On top of those three main characters, Goku's adventures in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be colored by his friends, Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu and Yamcha but only as supporting characters and not fully playable ones.

On twitter, Bandai Namco Entertainment UK joined in on the announcements with a recent tweet that also included new screenshots of the recently confirmed characters.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an upcoming game by Naruto Shippuden developer CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Officially announced in E3 2019, it's reported to be an action RPG title and it will cover the life and adventures of Kakarot, or Goku, in the popular Dragon Ball Z series.

While there isn't an official release date yet, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will come out on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2020.
