An indie studio from Germany is set to debut its first gaming project. And it's going to be a massive multiplayer, turn-based title. DFW Games launched Domination Dynasty on August 3. The game will launch on iOS and Android.

Like any massive multiplayer online game, Domination Dynasty takes players to a large-scale competition. But this time, they need to compete with 1,000 other players. All will vie for dominance on a single, sprawling map.

Developers promised to bring a unique take on the turn-based strategy genre. It features a unique system called a global round-timer.

Between rounds, players need to plan their next moves. Once the timer runs out, all actions will execute at the same time. As a result, they will face a dynamic and ever-changing battlefield.

The combat system in Domination Dynasty emphasizes strategic planning and skillful troop composition.

There's no room for luck here, developers described. Victory depends on the player's ability to outwit and outmaneuver their opponents.

Beyond the large-scale battles, Domination Dynasty also offers real-time management. Between rounds, players can focus on building and expanding their cities. They can also unlock new technologies and craft powerful items. Players, in addition, may forge alliances with other players through powerful dynasties.
