Fans of horror adventure games will have to wait a bit longer for the release of Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror. The game's creators on September 11 announced they postponed the game's launch to next year. Instead of this year, the new release date will be February 28, 2025.
Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror is developed by Indigo Studios and Grindstone, with SOEDESCO as its publisher.
In a statement, developers and publishers said they needed more time to ensure the game's quality before rolling it out.
"This delay will help us ensure the game meets our standards by giving our team additional time for final adjustments and polishing," they said.
The delay may disappoint some eager players. However, SOEDESCO promises to provide more updates and content related to the game in the coming months.
Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror is a first-person horror adventure. It follows the story of Eliza de Moor, a once-celebrated singer struggling with amnesia.
After collapsing on stage during a performance, Eliza seeks help from Doctor Stern who prescribed her an experimental medicine to help restore her lost memories.
However, it would throw Eliza in a world where the real world collides with the haunting realm behind the broken mirror. In it, she must confront the terrifying dolls that represent her hidden memories. These creatures will test her courage and skills. Along the way, she must either fight or sneak past them to uncover fragments of her past.
The game's setting is a twisted and unsettling world inspired by Eliza's childhood home in Ravenhill Mansion. Players will explore the mansion's eerie corridors and rooms, solving puzzles and facing the horrors that lurk within.
Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror will be available on PC via Steam on PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players can purchase its physical and digital formats. The Standard Edition will retail for US $39.99 while the Deluxe Digital Edition will be priced at US $49.99. /
