Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless creators have announced numerous new features for players to enjoy. This is the "biggest release" in the Disgaea series. Among the new features are auto-Battle, Online Ranked Battles, Item Reincarnation, Hell Mode, Sightseeing, and Jumbification.
The latest installment in the Disgaea saga is set in the demonic realm of Hinomoto, developers said. Players will take control of two unlikely protagonists. They are Fuji, described as a lazy warrior, and a bushido fangirl named Pirilika.
Disgaea's first installment was released on January 20, 2003. Due to its success, it has spawned a manga and anime series. NSI reported in 2021 that they have already shipped and sold over 5 million units of Disgaea titles. / ###
