Renowned fantasy author R.A. Salvatore has signed a licensing agreement with Tupelo Labs to transform his acclaimed DemonWars Saga book series into a video game. This collaboration represents a significant expansion of Salvatore's expansive universe into the interactive realm of video gaming.
This partnership is a landmark event for the Georgia-based studio.
Tupelo Games embarks on the ambitious project of developing next-generation games for virtual reality, PC, and console platforms. With Salvatore's intricate lore and fantasy elements, Tupelo Labs aims to deliver unparalleled gaming experiences characterized by stunning visuals, intricate world-building, and captivating gameplay.
Tupelo Labs was a newly launched 3D development studio that launched in August last year. Despite its greenhorn reputation, it boasts a team of seasoned professionals who have previously worked on successful games based on major franchises like The Exorcist and The Twilight Zone. This blend of talent and experience puts Tupelo Labs uniquely to take on the intricate ‘DemonWars Saga.’

This is not the first time a game company signs a deal with a massive IP. Blazing Griffin Studios announced that they acquired the rights for an Arsene Lupin game. It is scheduled to release this year.
