The game follows in the footsteps of the addictive gameplay in Balatro. Released just this year, Balatro currently sits as one of the best PC games of all time with a score of 9.4.

In Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers, players step into a seedy tavern filled with gambling-addicted townspeople. This blackjack-themed roguelike made waves at Steam Next Fest in June, ranking among the festival’s top 25 most played demos.

Other contenders from the showcase include the upcoming survival-open world Once Human and Enotria: The Last Song, a soulslike based on Italian mythology.

Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers has gained over 120,000 wishlists on Steam. It is evident that the anticipation for this innovative deckbuilder is high.

The team has released a new teaser trailer to hype fans up for its release.

The trailer showcased a glimpse of the high stakes and gritty adventure players can expect. In Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers, players build powerful decks to challenge the corrupt elite exploiting local gamblers.

The game features over 300 cards, each offering new strategic opportunities to outwit opponents and hit the jackpot.

Before its imminent version 1.0 release, it went through numerous development versions. Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers amassed a cult following on its website in 2023.

A demo for the game is currently available on itch.io.
