The Farm 51 and Untold Tales announced the release of Chernobylite Complete Edition for the Nintendo Switch, bringing the survival horror RPG to a new and portable platform.
To mark the launch, a new live-action trailer showcasing extended gameplay footage on the Switch has been unveiled.

The Complete Edition includes the full base game along with all content updates released to date, such as additional story missions, expanded locations, new weapons, and unique game modes.
Meanwhile, the Premium Edition is scheduled for release in early 2025. This version will feature all the content from the Complete Edition, plus digital downloads of the official soundtrack and artbook, as well as two exclusive DLC packs: The Seasoned Scavenger and Irradiated Hideout.
Originally released three years ago, Chernobylite immerses players in the eerie wastelands of Chornobyl’s Exclusion Zone, blending science fiction, survival horror, and role-playing elements. Fans have drawn comparisons to GSC Game World’s popular S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
Players assume the role of Igor, a physicist and former employee of the Chornobyl Power Plant, who returns to Pripyat 30 years after the catastrophic nuclear disaster to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his fiancee. The journey through this irradiated landscape is rife with danger, from hostile military forces and mutated creatures to the unforgiving environment itself.
Unlike the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. titles, Chernobylite introduces base-building and crafting mechanics, allowing players to construct and customize their home base to craft weapons, gadgets, and traps that aid in their survival. The game also includes resource and team management, enabling players to recruit companions with unique skills, assign them to critical missions, and maintain morale through strategic decisions.
The game’s non-linear storytelling ensures that every decision carries weight, shaping the course of Igor’s journey and offering a distinct experience with each playthrough. Whether prioritizing resources, navigating complex relationships, or deciding when to confront threats directly, players will find themselves immersed in a story where their choices truly matter.
