The cozy, cat-centric mobile game, Cats & Soup, has reached 30 million downloads worldwide. South Korean game publisher Neowiz confirmed that Cats&Soup had recorded 30 million downloads on both Google Play and the App Store.

The mobile app's latest milestone came just 10 months after its launch.

To celebrate the occasion, Neowiz announced that developers from Hidea will roll out several surprises for players. These include new characters and facilities to explore and play.

Players can expect to meet and play a new feline friend called Ocicat. Developers described the Ocicat as an 'adorable domestic that resembles a wild cat.' However, they have yet to provide further details about the newest character addition.

"Everyone will want to check out the Ocicat once it's live in the game," Neowiz added. Developers also opened two new cat facilities: Cutting Strawberries and Hop in the Car.

In Cutting Strawberries, cats can make soup, juice, and pie from strawberries. Meanwhile, Hop in the Car is a rest stop where felines in the forest can enjoy a ride.

Aside from new cats and locations, new items and events await players for Cats & Soup's newest milestone, like the return of the Cherry Blossom Deer Friend and Cherry Blossom Shorthair Ticket.

Developers also confirmed that the Electronic Cat Friends Set and Red Shiba Friends would come back as ready-for-sale packages.
