Good news for feline lovers and console owners.

Cat Rescue Story, the popular cat sanctuary simulation game, is set to welcome more players this year.

NACON announced that they will release the console versions of the game soon. Beginning this September 26th, console owners can finally experience what it's like to build and run a cat sanctuary.

Cat Rescue Story, according to NACON, will land on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. The game will also be one of many upcoming games on PS4 and Xbox One.

The game first came out on iOS and Android devices in March 2023.

In it, players take on the responsibility of caring for rescued cats. It puts them in the shoes of a new caretaker for a charming but rundown house - once home to a beloved cat lady.

Following in her footsteps, they will welcome stray cats, showering them with love, food, and playtime until they find their forever homes. But managing feline friends requires a well-maintained space. Players also need to clean, decorate, and even prepare a treatment room for checkups with a friendly vet.

While caring for the cats, the story unfolds, revealing secrets about the village, the cats themselves, and the biggest mystery surrounding the caretaker's great-aunt.

Cat Rescue Story features over 50 cat breeds. From the most common house cats to rarer and exotic breeds. Each cat also comes with its unique personality and needs. Aside from putting up and personalizing their cat sanctuary, the game also contains mini-games.

These themed mini-games will help players unlock new rooms in their rescue center.

Upon its release, Cat Rescue Story became a critical and commercial success. Gamers and critics alike praised it for its heartwarming and entertaining premise. Whatoplay gave it a score of 8.3
