French developer and publisher COWCAT announced a new addition to their acclaimed beat ‘em up, BROK the InvestiGator. The new DLC, titled "The Brawl Bar," expands the game's brawler elements with new features and challenges.
The Brawl Bar builds on the original’s successful fusion of classic adventure and action genres. This expansion invites players to explore an underground bar in the depths of the Slums. Protagonist Brok, the boxing alligator, takes on a series of intense brawls to prove his mettle.
Its biggest addition is the ability to play with friends via co-op. Work together with friends or square off in intense 1 versus 1 battles in versus mode.
The DLC also introduces a new boxer outfit for Brok, 10 playable characters, stages, and achievements to unlock. Additionally, a Survival mode encourages players to test their skills in challenging levels.
BROK the InvestiGator has garnered an ‘overwhelmingly positive’ reception on Steam. It boasts a 98% rating from over 650 reviews. On whatoplay, it's one of the best single-player games on PC with a playscore of 9.0.
It was praised for its innovative blend of adventure and Beat 'Em Up mechanics. Players were also impressed with its voice acting cast from talents like Bryan Olson (Max from Streets of Rage 4) and Michael Kovach (The Amazing Digital Circus, Hazbin Hotel, Lackadaisy).

Most of BROK’s artistic designs are drawn from a darker twist on 80s and early 90s cartoons It immersed players in its dystopian world where animals have replaced humans. Every decision players make influences the game's outcome.
The game features over 23,000 lines of dialogue and offers 15 to 20 hours of gameplay. It is packed with mystery, puzzles, and multiple endings.
The DLC is set to debut on PC soon. It is currently available to wishlist on Steam and GOG.
