Here's an early Christmas present for players and owners of PlayStation consoles.

Publisher Whitehorn Games announced that the critically acclaimed puzzle <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/botany-manor/">Botany Manor</a> will soon arrive on PlayStation (PS). In a press release, the American indie game publisher revealed they will launch Botany Manor on PS5 and PS4 this December 17.

Botany Manor's expansion to PlayStation platforms came eight months after it made its debut on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles.

The game was developed by English indie studio Balloon Studio. It is a botany-themed <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/best/point-and-click/">point-and-click</a> adventure.

Set in a 19th-century English manor, Botany Manor follows a retired botanist named Arabella Greece. Players find themselves in Greece's home, filled with rare, nearly forgotten plants.

Balloon Studios is founded by BAFTA-recognized designer Laure De Mey. In creating Botany Manor, De Mey drew inspiration from famous English manors. Like that of naturalist Charles Darwin and the famous Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider series.

This explains why exploration and interaction was one of the highlights of the game.

The game guides players through a narrative that invites them to explore the sprawling estate. As well as uncover notes, books, and keepsakes that reveal clues to the ideal growing conditions for each plant.

Throughout the manor, interactive objects help players solve plant-specific <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/best/puzzles/">puzzles</a>. With each mystery uncovered, new seed varieties can be unlocked.

Upon its release, Botany Manor received positive feedback. Gamers and critics alike praised the game for its immersive historical details and pacing. As well as its cozy and wholesome theme.

On whatoplay, it received playscore of 8.8, both for PC and Xbox devices.
Retail price for Botany Manor on PlayStation has yet to be revealed. But presently, it carries a price tag of US$24.99 on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
