Borderlands 2 may have come out in 2012, but the game is still finding support today. Just in 2K has announced the drop of a free DLC called Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary for the Nintendo Switch. We have a new launch trailer for the expansion which you can check out below:
To check out the DLC, you go to the Fast Trael station at level 30 or up and look for Fight for Sanctuary. The expansion comes with some new guns and bosses, plus a new type of enemy you can blast away. The level cap has also been bumped up from level 72 to level 80.
For now, some players have been reporting that the DLC is crashing the game, but hopefully the devs will have that problem fixed soon.
The Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary DLC is said to be available for free for both owners of Borderlands Legendary Collection and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. It will be available until the 3rd of December, so you have at least a month to check it out before it’s gone.
Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary is now available on the Nintendo Switch. You can find more games in our list of Nintendo Switch Games.
