We’ve had multiple films about shrunk people from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids to Ant-Man, and now Glob Games Studio is bringing that experience to games with their new trailer for MicroMan.

Check it out:

MicroMan is a new game combining adventure, action and survival that will allow you to look at the human world from a completely new perspective.

The game basically has the main character shrunk to the size of an ant, and they’ll have to traverse the game, trying to find a way to get back to normal size. In place of enemies, gamers will have to go up against small animals like frogs, hedgehogs, and ants, and they’ll also find different ways of travelling like with butterflies or falling leaves.

Glob Games VP Karol Marcinkowski also had this to say about MicroMan:

“Our new game will allow you to look at the human world from a completely fresh perspective. MicroMan will have to face adversities that the average person would not even think of. We will provide the players with a surprising, dynamic and – at the same time – very multifaceted adventure.

We will be fighting rats, running away from a hedgehog, looking for a way to get on the bus or trying to avoid getting crushed by human feet. And these are just some of the things MicroMan will offer. All this will be wrapped in stylish audio and visuals and sprinkled with a good dose of good humour”

I don’t know about you, but I think they should have found a way to pitch this game to Marvel as an Ant-Man video game. But then again, maybe that was the plan, and they ended up just making MicroMan because the game couldn’t get picked up.

It’s just a theory.

MicroMan is set to debut on Steam in the latter half of 2021, but we should also expect it to release for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
