We're delighted to announce that Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will release on November 7,
the French publisher said in a press release.
The game can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, they added.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, developed by French game developer DONTNOD, is a single-player RPG. Players join Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, lovers turned ghosthunters, as they navigate a haunting campaign set in 1695 New Eden. Trapped in a twisted fate, Antea becomes one of the very ghosts she despises.
Players take control of a spirited Antea and Red as they desperately search for a way to liberate Antea from her new plight. At the same time, they must continue protecting the living world from threats of lingering ghosts and specters.
Enter the lives of New Eden's communities in a world plagued with supernatural creatures and ancient secrets,
developers described.
Use your wits or combine Antea's spiritual powers and Red's powerful arsenal to defeat and banish the souls that torment the living,
they added.
Meanwhile, Focus Entertainment has already started accepting Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden pre-orders. Players can pre-purchase the game's Collector's Edition. It contains a statuette, an artbook, a Steelbook®, two rings, and a DLC. Console players can also buy physical copies of the game.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden currently carries a price tag of US$59.99 on Steam.
