The hit mobile RPG, Frost & Flame: King of Avalon, can now be played on PC. Creators from FunPlus confirmed that they had launched Frost & Flame: King of Avalon for PC on March 15.
Today, Frost & Flame: King of Avalon, comes to Windows, reaching another major milestone for the game and the team,
said Chris Petrovic, Chief Business Officer at FunPlus. This makes the free-to-play mobile game its second title to expand to PC devices. The Switzerland-based studio earlier ported its zombie-survival game, State of Survival, to PC.
We're thrilled to see the growing FunPlus portfolio of games coming to PC, and providing our players new ways of engaging with them,
Petrovic said. Developers promised to deliver an enhanced gaming experience for the PC version of Frost & Flame: King of Avalon. While "many of the game's specs remain the same," they made several adjustments to accommodate PC players, they wrote in a press release.
These included quality-of-life improvements with the ability to play the game on a larger screen with a mouse and a multi-client feature, said FunPlus. The multi-client feature, according to developers, “allows players to play with multiple registered accounts.”
[Frost & Flame: King of Avalon for PC also has] faster loading times, increased stability, and exclusive offline events for PC players,
they added.
Frost & Flame: King of Avalon first launched for iOS and Android devices in 2016. It is set in a fantasy medieval England where players must build their army and battle foes to become King. Frost & Flame: King of Avalon features multiple modes, including single-player, PvP, and MMO.
The game received positive reviews from gamers and critics. Whatoplay gave it a gamerscore of 8.6, based on the reviews from over 900,000 mobile gamers.
When the game marked its sixth anniversary in 2022, it had already recorded more than 100 million downloads, said Petrovic. / ###
