<p>The Doppleganger Edition is a remastered version of Nongunz. It will come free for anyone who already owns the game on Steam. There will also be a 20% launch discount on consoles, as well as a 10% discount on the PC.</p>

<p>Nongunz is an <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/platformer" title="Best PC Platformer Games">action-platformer</a> that was originally launched for the PC back in 2017. Though there were plans for the game to come to consoles, the project didn't push through under previous publisher Sindiecate.</p>

<p>Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition is set to come out for the PS4 on May 5, Nintendo Switch on May 6, and Xbox One and PC on May 7. Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition Launches on Consoles

<p>Though gamers are never going to get a Left 4 Dead 3, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/turtle-rock-studios" title="Turtle Rock Studios">Turtle Rock Studios</a> does have a spiritual sequel in the form of <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-one/back-4-blood" title="Back 4 Blood on Xbox One">Back 4 Blood</a>. The game is set to come out this October, and a new trailer just dropped. Here, they show off the new ‘Card System’ as well as the AI called the Game Director.</p>

<p>The new adaptive AI dubbed as the ‘Game Director’ (GD) is what adds the ‘rogue-lite’ element to the game. The GD takes note of how the players' actions, health, and choices and adjusts matches according to them.</p>

<p>Before a match, the Game Director also plays these Corruption Cards which will showcase the challenges for players. Each player can then select a pre-made deck or make a customized deck, depending on how they want to play. These cards can adjust the game to your advantage, all in the name of challenging the Game Director.</p>

Back 4 Blood Goes Rogue-Lite In This New Trailer for the Card System

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/god-of-war" title="God of War on PS4">God of War</a> brought Kratos to the world of Norse Mythology, but indie publisher <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/digerati-distribution" title="Digerati Distribution">Digerati</a> blends Norse myth with science-fiction horror in the game <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/apsulov-end-of-gods" title="Apsulov End of Gods on PC">Apsulov: End of Gods</a>. It launched on the PC back in 2019, but developers <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/angry-demon-studio" title="Angry Demon Studio">Angry Demon Studio</a> are now ready to bring their horror fantasy to current-gen consoles.</p>

Apsulov: End of Gods is Where Norse Mythology Meets Sci-Fi Horror

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-one/train-sim-world-2" title="Train Sim World 2 on Xbox One">Train Sim World 2</a> is trying its best to simulate what it’s like to run an actual functioning train. Developers <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/dovetail-games" title="Dovetail Games">Dovetail Games</a> are now upping the realism with the announcement of their new expansion: Rush Hour.</p>

<p>Chief Development Officer of Dovetail Rob O’Farrell said about Rush Hour:</p>

<p>Besides having more hectic peak hours, Rush Hour will also have a lot more passenger types. Would-be train conductors should be up and alert when it comes to following train schedules and making sure they don’t fall behind.</p>

<p>It’s also worth noting that Train Sim World 2 will also be getting an Unreal Engine 4.26 upgrade for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.</p>

<p>Stranger Things (ST) is one of the biggest shows to come out on Netflix. <p>Eleven and Hopper may seem to be the only characters that can survive in a fight in The Seven Deadly Sins. But, this update has also given some significant power-ups to ‘normal’ characters like Will Byers and Mike Wheeler. If this collaboration is a success, fans may get other favorites from the show like Dustin, Max, or even Steve.</p>

<p>All characters can be collected through the Collab Pickup Draw. These characters start at maximum grown state (Level 80, fully awakened). Players who get to 300 mileage in the Pickup draw will get an extra SSR hero. Those who reach 600 mileage will be able to get one of the four ST heroes.</p>

Castlevania Anniversary Collection to Get Physical Editions on Switch and PS4


Get your chance to own these limited physical editions of the ultimate retro Castlevania experience.

<a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/castlevania-anniversary-collection" title="Castlevania on PlayStation 4">Castlevania</a> was a title that defined a genre. Konami had celebrated 50 years of the games with the release of the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/castlevania-anniversary-collection" title="Castlevania on Nintendo Switch">Castlevania Anniversary Collection</a>. Though the game has been available for digital since 2019, <a href="https://limitedrungames.com/" title="Limited Run Games official website">Limited Run Games</a> has announced that they are releasing a physical edition.</p>

<p>A total of four editions will be made available. These are the Standard Edition, the Bloodlines Edition, the Classic Edition, and the Ultimate Edition.</p>
<p>The Bloodlines Edition includes a deluxe clamshell case, the original soundtrack, and a reversible 18x24-inch poster. The Classic Edition has everything in the Bloodlines edition but with an NES dust sleeve which comes in an NES-style retro box in place of the clamshell. As for the Ultimate Edition, it includes a ‘shadow box’ that lights up and plays music. It will also have retro box art prints, an enamel pin, a copy of The History of Castlevania: Book of the Crescent Moon, plus all the other things that came with previous packages.</p>
<p>The Standard Edition will run for $34.99, the Bloodlines and Classic editions for $59.99, and the Ultimate Edition for $174.99.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection to Get Physical Editions on Switch and PS4

<p>As April comes to a close, PlayStation is now gearing up for the next month of free games on PS Plus. PlayStation has announced their lineup of free games this May. These are Battlefield V, Stranded Deep, and Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last.</p>

Wreckfest is the next full-contact racer from the creator of the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/flatout" title="FlatOut on PC">FlatOut</a>. Get grimy and put together some patched-up cars to bring into deadly races with ridiculous crashes. In Challenge mode, you'll find yourself behind the wheels of three-wheelers, crop harvesters, and so much more.</p>

PlayStation Plus Announces Free Games for May

<p>Developer <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/balancing-monkey-games" title="Balancing Monkey Games">Balancing Monkey Games</a> is teaming up with <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/team17" title="Team17">Team17</a> to bring their game <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/before-we-leave" title="Before We Leave on PC">Before We Leave</a> to Steam. Here’s the official partnership announcement:</p>

<p>Other games like Civilization like to lean in on the war side as culture grows. Before We Leave encourages non-violence. You can explore the world and build different settlements in peace.  Take note, while war may not be a concern when it comes to this game, there are other things that can keep your ‘Peeps’ from being happy, such as pollution, food, and resources.</p> 

<p>Balancing Monkey isn’t the first developer to team up with Team17 either. Just last March, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/post/ready-or-not" title="Ready or Not Void Interactive Announces Partnership with Team17">VOID Interactive had announced their partnership with Team17</a> for the highly anticipated <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/ready-or-not" title="Ready or Not on PC">Ready or Not</a>. Creative Director of Balancing Monkey Sam Barhman said about the team-up:</p>
