Edgar Wright’s adaptation of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is a cult classic, and so is the tie-in game which also came out in 2010. With the movie hitting its 10th anniversary this year, Ubisoft has decided to drop a trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition.

With the complete edition, you’ll get access to DLC which includes characters like Knives Chau and Wallace Wells. While the movie is already a love letter to retro video games, the tie-in game is not any different, what with the pixelated graphics and classic beat-em-up format.
Though the movie is already a decent adaptation of Scott Pilgrim’s story, it admittedly pales in comparison to the events of the manga. Good thing the game looks to be influenced directly by the source material rather than the film. If reading comics isn’t your thing, then maybe playing the Scott Pilgrim game will be the best medium to experience Scott’s journey.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition will be available this holiday season for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC.
