We’ve known for a while that Clint Barton/Hawkeye will be a DLC character for the upcoming game, Marvel's Avengers

.

Though that seemed like it was enough, it looks like one other Marvel archer is going to be joining the fight and it’s been revealed as Hawkeye’s protégée Kate Bishop.

Check out the new trailer:

Kate Bishop joins our expanding roster in Taking Aim, the first post-launch Operation in the Avengers Initiative. As a master archer, Kate has the smarts, the talent, and the sarcastic attitude that makes any enemy she faces quiver in fear.

While we don’t really get to see much of her skillset in the trailer, we do know that she has one ability that the other heroes don’t have—teleportation. We don’t know how that works, but hopefully Kate has a different skillset as compared to Hawkeye.

You’ll also notice that Kate has a familiar voice, and that’s because she is played by Ashly Burch, who is best known for providing the voice of another bow-wielding game girl, Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.

It’s said that Kate will actually be the first playable character introduced post-launch. Hopefully she will be available for free, just like Spider-Man will be for PlayStation owners.

Marvel's Avengers game will be available today, Sept. 4, on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
