Donut County and Gorogoa gets a Limited Edition Physical Release for the Nintendo Switch

Annapurna Interactive, a known publisher responsible for successful Indie games such as What Remains of Edith Finch, Florence, and Gone Home shows its support to the Nintendo Switch by releasing limited edition physical copies of two of their latest award-winning games: Gorogoa and Donut County.

Gorogoa, considered as one of the best-looking games of 2017, is a true work of art. Players can bask with the games’ meticulously crafted illustrations and puzzles. It tells a beautiful story with painstaking detail layered around its emotional backdrop. Its physical edition comes with a “Traditions of the Scattered Path” booklet which includes all of the games’ original art.

Donut County, however, is the complete opposite of Gorogoa. To commemorate the Switch’s success, this silly, yet adorable puzzle game is also coming its way to Nintendo’s hybrid console. Players follow the mischievous adventures of the residents in Donut County after being threatened by a mysterious sentient hole. The bonus content for this limited release includes a sweet Trashopedia Sticker Collection.

Both games racked up a number of awards, so it goes without saying that they are not mere indie titles. Orders are expected to ship this early 2020. For more information, check out iam8bit.com.
