In a surprise announcement, Digital Eclipse and Nighthawk Interactive unveils its Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and the Lion King bundle.

This two-in-one package introduces the new generation of players to the good ol’ retro days. Relive the 16-bit magic of these classic Disney titles as this will feature upscaled graphics to support HD displays, additional upgrades, and enhanced replayability.

The collection also includes the latest “Final Cut” of Aladdin and an Original Aladdin “tradeshow demo” that has not been revealed in the public since 1993!

Fans of these ridiculously difficult platformers of its time will enjoy the collection’s various quality of life improvements. This includes the ability to save your progress, which surprisingly, was not a thing in the 90’s. Players can also use the game’s new “Rewind” button to jump back up to 15 seconds.

Also part of the re-release is its added ‘cheat code’ feature which unlocks the ability to be completely invulnerable and have Infinite Lives. For added replayability, its “Interactive Game Viewer” lets players relive the full game experience with the freedom to skip certain scenes.

It is a treasure trove of wonder. Players can also pick between the multiple playable platform versions of each of the two titles for added immersion.

The collection will be available on October 29 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
