Dying of frostbite in the cold, unforgiving environs of Iceland, Gréta Egilsdóttir is left to wonder how, exactly, she found herself in such a dire situation. Perhaps it began with Steina’s baby, or with Kai agreeing to stay the night, or with that kiss she almost shared with Nataníel. Perhaps it began when she journeyed from her home of Reykjahlíð to work as a housemaid in the distant fishing village of Mýrakot... Or perhaps it began three years ago, when her grandmother was still alive, and she lived in the small farming village of Reykjahlíð. That was when Gréta first met him: the world-weary doctor with the fair hair, the tired eyes, and the intense, almost obsessive desire to help people. For Gréta, meeting Nataníel Jóhannsson was love at first sight... But there are some loves which cannot — or perhaps should not — be.

120k of text (approx 5-8 hours of reading)

A kinetic story with no choices or branches

Very cute custom character artwork

A custom OST

An atmospheric story with a lot of drama

One handsome, extremely tired doctor

Even more drama

Some characters might die idk you'll have to read it and find out!

Note: This VN does not have any choices or branches. The content is rather dark, and may upset some people. One of the male characters is also married, so you might want to give this story a miss if you think that would bother you!
