The special combination of creativity and competition in [backyard baseball](https://backyardbaseball.io/) is what makes it stand out. Individual players have complete creative control over their in-game avatars, down to the facial traits and batting stances. The game also has a bunch of crazy modes, like "Killer Bees" where you have to strike the ball as bees sting you. A combination of sports simulation and party game is what you get as a consequence.
