  • Chivalry 2 is an incredibly fun, objective-based first-person war game. Players should remember that they won’t find the melee finesse of something like For Honor or dominate the whole map solo. Every match moment will be an over-the-top action sequence, where bodies will fly, characters roar with laughter, and nothing will make any real sense.

  • Chivalry 2 is a fantastic multiplayer game that is consistently pumping out updates with a pretty thriving community of players. There is a fairly steep learning curve, but it has been out long enough at this point that if you feel yourself tilting, just do a quick Youtube search for “Chivalry 2 combat tips” and it will probably clear up a lot of that brain fog.

  • Chivalry 2 is stupid fun. That’s as in stupid and fun. I had a blast with over 10 hours playing this game. Because of the massive multiplayer aspect, every match is a new experience so it won’t get stale after a couple of maps.

  • Chivalry II is a lot of fun. It's visceral, easy to learn but difficult to master, and it's simply a bloody good time. The balancing issues, lackluster customization options, and a general lack of maps take the wind out of its sails far too quickly. That means that a couple of updates could turn this little gem into a must-play title. I'm hopeful that Torn Banner can build on the solid foundation that it has poured for Chivalry II.

  • The sequel to the classic is indeed worthy in most ways, and Chivalry II is a much needed upgrade to the original game. Combat has a lot going on, and while many players will behave as non-chivalrous bastards, there is a good amount of fun to be found on the medieval battlefields of Chivalry II.

  • Overall, the game is pretty fun if you’re into medieval warfare and have fantasies of being a knight in such a battle. The battle modes didn’t feel like it’s dragging or taking too long. There is always that feeling of urgency to get the objectives done and the game takes you back into action with a respawn so you don’t just sit around waiting.

  • Chivalry 2 is a game that you can sink hours in without even noticing it, be it when reigning over the battlefield, but also when getting your limbs chopped off by the superior opposition. The game boasts some really nice graphics and has a nice sound design, making the immersion factor pretty strong. You will be craving Mead and songs sung by a bard in a tavern after a long day of bloodshed. There are many things to unlock and progress to be made through leveling the different character classes.

  • It definitely deserves a lot of love and attention and I don't doubt that it'll be a firm favorite for years to come. Those of you who care deeply about realism and solemnity will probably find Mordhau more to your liking. But those of you who just want to have fun will see that there are heaps of it to be had in Chivalry 2.

  • Chivalry 2 delivers plenty of intense, blood-soaked action, without taking itself too seriously. But you might eventually want to do more than blindly swing a sword around.

  • It's a novel idea, games that are fun regardless of how much stuff you can collect, but I think it could catch on.

This game came out in June of this year and when it released IT WORKED. It doesn't have any game-breaking glitches, it doesn't have a money-grab battle-pass or loot boxes. The vast majority of items in this game, be it armor or new weapons, can be unlocked just by playing the game, and even the stuff you have to pay more money for has NO bearing on the game its self its purely cosmetic. Which shouldn't be surprising, but in this day and age its exciting when a game isn't like that. Highly recommend, especially if you have GamePass, but even if you don't its a pretty good price.

First, this game is just fun. Doesn't take itself seriously and yet it's not overtly goofy. The gameplay is getting in the others face and swinging sharp and heavy objects at the others heads and nether regions. The sound effects when you land a crushing hit with the maul is satisfying, and so is the feeling when you throw a live chicken at an enemy for a kill. The gameplay is smooth and sometimes frantic when you're fighting multiple people. It consists of counters and parries mostly, all the while trying to land that devastating overhead smash. The main complaint I have at the moment is the limited things to do AT THE MOMENT, there is about 6 different maps. Three of the maps are focused on objective based gameplay where the players either attack/defend and move a caravan/stop caravan etc. While the other three are for strict team death matches which is pretty just a fun mosh pit of death. Yes there are only six maps but I haven't tired of playing them yet. Final words are these: this game is fun but needs a few more things to do to keep the player base.
